"Last minute overnight work stop, made to feel very welcome especially considering how unexpected I was. The place has been decorated to a very high standard and kept its character. Room was immaculate and comfortable. Breakfast was top notch. Highly recommended would definitely stay again. "

"Lovely luxury b&b in Torquay. Room had everything we needed and more. Breakfasts are ordered the night before to save on wastage which is understandable. Owners were lovely and available if needed as there isn't a front desk. Will definitely visit again when coming to Torquay."

"A very nice stay , last minute booking, very warmly greeted on arrival, asked what I wanted for breakfast and what time. Nice comfortable room with adaquate en-suite facilities with plenty of water provided in the room. In the morning, I was again greeted in a warm manner and had one of the best breakfasts I’ve had. I’ve paid double price and not had this quality. The owners really couldn’t do enough for me. "

"The place is just walking distance to the harbour, restaurants and shops. Breakfast are good. Comfy bed. The only worst thing is it smells so bad everytime we open the door going in, it’s only that part immediately open the door from outside. I don’t know where it is coming from bcoz it don’t smell in the toilet, not inside the room. Only upon opening the room, maybe from the vent. I didn’t bother to inform the staff in reception as smell fades away. I should have really. We stayed in room 208....

"One of the nicest hotels I have stayed in. It’s a lovely traditional hotel building (1920s shall we say?) which has been beautifully renovated and refurbished. Both the big picture and the small details are delightful. Staff service was friendly with a real sense of team and purpose. I haven’t mentioned the small outdoor pool (constant 27c) or hot tub simply because I didn’t use them this time! "We stayed overnight as we drove along the coast in summer. Our room was beautiful and very comfortable with everything we needed. Our hosts were marvellous. They ensured we had everything we needed and gave recommendations for the local area. We enjoyed having a chat with them in the evening and would happily recommend their beautiful place as a great place to stay."
