"The room was comfortable but the walls were a bit thin as we could hear snoring in the room next door. Parking felt safe. I will bring my own coffee/coffee pot next time. Tania was very kind, friendly and helpful and got our stay off to a great start. Savannah is expensive in general and although I thought this property was a bit overpriced we would stay there again. The midtown location was actually very convenient for our home base for Savannah adventures."

"Couldn’t eat breakfast there becuase it wasn’t safe for celiac. Being charged an extra 30$ a night without knowing in advance was disturbing. Didn’t use any of the extra that were included in the 30$. Having a fee for paying the parking fee that was already ridiculous was absurd!!"

"Beautiful hotel in a great location! Even though there was problem initially with our room, management and all of the staff went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Rooms were clean, and the gym has clean and modern equipment. The restaurant had well flavored cook to order breakfast. We are definitely coming back soon! "

"The staff was very nice and welcoming. The property was clean. Breakfast was minimal but fine. One odd thing, you can only watch tv if you link to your own phone or tablet and your streaming service. They don't have free over the air channels. You are given a brochure claiming availability of over 200,000 shows, movies and songs. Sure, if you provide them via casting/mirroring. Not a huge deal but unusual. "

"The hotel is historic and offers spectacular views of the Savannah River. The lobby and the open flights of stairs down to River Street are memorable. My only criticisms is the failure of the reception staff to inform me of the $32 “destination fee” at check in and the remodeling of the bathroom in our room does not reflect and failed to preserve the original character and features of our room. The floor and walls were covered with composite or wood laminated materials and the cabinet/counter...

"The hotel overall could use a good deep cleaning, the staff was friendly and nice, breakfast was fresh and good. No exhaust fan for the bathroom. When we parked to check in there was not anything with a sign lighting up to specify front of building or lobby (after dark). The exterior side door to the stairs slams extremely hard. Not the worst hotel i had stayed in, but also not the best. "
