"Loved the location. We walked 15 minutes to visit Notre Dame University. The room was spacious, it’s an older hotel but very clean and well maintained. It was quiet, bed was on the firmed side and pillows were comfortable and plenty of them. The sofa bed was not the most confortable but most of them are not. The staff was friendly and very polite. The breakfast was one of the best I had including multiple selections including fresh fruit, oatmeal with toppings to choose from, eggs, bacon, pancakes, potatoes, waffle station, bread/pastries station, yogurt, milk, coffee/tea station. They have airport shuttle but we did not use it since we rented a car and airport is closed by. We will stay here again. "

"This is a lovely, vintage style resort hotel next to the E Calumet River and a few minutes from the Dunes National Park. The rooms are large and comfortable. (Though the beds are very high). There is a Pizzeria Uno on the property and a meeting or bridal center. Breakfast is the same hot breakfast and do it yourself pancakes or cereal that you get in many similarly priced hotels. I did appreciate the 24-hour coffee, tea and hot chocolate machine. Excellent WiFi. Lovely pool. Great staff. "
