"We always love staying at the Steamboat Grand but this time was a little different. First they were going to let me know as soon as our room was ready as we were checking out of a house we had rented for our large family vacation just up the hill from the Grand. (We stayed longer than our kids to meet some friends and enjoy extra mountain time!) They never bothered to let us know that our room was ready early (I had said I am happy to pay for early check in) Thank goodness the company we rented the house through allowed us to stay longer When we did finally get to our room, there was a partially eaten doughnut next to the refrigerator ( gross) Not sure how the cleaning staff missed it as it was one of the first things I saw when we walked in. The restaurant and staff were great! I really shouldn’t complain but we have never had any problems before so…just some constructive feedback for future guests. Still like this place!"
