"I had a blast staying here. The night hike was added bonus. Very nice place with good food. "

"Room was small but VERY clean, the owner runs the place and is both amicable and helpful. The pool was well kept, clean and warm"

"My family and I had a fantastic time staying at the Weir House. Our only regret was that we could only stay one. From the patio of the house, we could hear the rapids of the river and surrounded by verdant forest. Staying here truly was a highlight of our Sri Lanka trip. Mr. Maha, the manager was so very helpful, including assisting us to book a hotel in Kandi when it turned out that the place we originally booked was a huge disappointment. He even arranged 2 tuk tuks to take us to the...

Views from the property were great and it was in close proximity to central Kandy and many worth visiting sites. Our host also accommodated us by driving us to local sites for a very reasonable fee. He was...

"Spacious en clean villa's. Very friendly staff. It really feels like you are visiting family. Great food (nice breakfast en delicious dinner!). Nice swimming pool. Good place to start or end your trip in Sri Lanka. "

"Excellent large house with plenty of room and facilities. Very courteous host, staff and always happy to help. Great pool available 24 hours with lots of shade. Ideal for a family"

"Aara Wild near Sigiriya was the highlight of our whole Sri Lanka trip. From arrival, the warmth of the welcome set the tone – every member of staff, from housekeeping to guides to the kitchen team, was genuinely, unfailingly lovely. It’s rare to feel so looked after and so at ease at once. The activities were fantastic and varied: a sunset walk with incredible views, a relaxed afternoon tea, a chef’s dinner served poolside under the stars, and a hands-on cooking class. Each felt personal rather...
