We were welcomed by a lovely member of staff who showed us to our room and gave us a full explanation of all the facilities including how to use the coffee machine. Room was spotless and quiet. We walked into the town centre in the evening. It's only a 10minute walk but just be aware this property is up a steep hill so walking back up requires some energy! Breakfast was delicious. We ordered the night before and then it was served at a time...

"Wonderful place to stay, a true country guesthouse. Easy 10 minute walk from Ambleside. The mountain view from my room was stunning, watching the evening sun over the Fairfield Horseshoe. So peaceful, the only noises you'll hear are sheep and birds. Highly recommended."
