"It was heavenly. Perfectly located in the centre of town and close to everything. The room possessed the charm of the old building but with modern luxuries. The staff were so helpful and the breakfast set you up for the day. I can’t imagine staying anywhere else the next time I visit."

"All the staff were very friendly and helpful! The cleaning staff, bar staff and room service were responsive and efficient. What was very surprising was that there was only one lift to get up and down from bedrooms, in the whole hotel. Great shame! But very enjoyable weekend break. Thank you St George’s Hotel staff."

"The position of this hotel is perfect for a relaxing stay. The bedroom was of a good size and the bathroom has a walk in shower. The shower was not very powerful but the hot water maintained an even temperature. There was plenty of space for storing and hanging clothes. The food was superb.
