"This is a lovely hotel in beautiful Betws-y-coed in the heart of Snowdonia. We have stayed at this hotel many times, as the lodges are very clean, comfortable and to a high standard of comfort. The staff are always very pleasant and happy to help and the breakfast is very plentiful and delicious"

"It was great to have a sea view . On the whole the staff were really kind and helpful .Friday 18th Sept 2026 , had to ask for my pot of tea at breakfast , and felt invisible at the same breakfast session as wasnβt fussed over the way that some of the guests were , this did not apply to the maitre D who was charming at the same session ."

"We were surprised to find that guests have to pay an additional fee for parking. The building is quite old, so the ventilation wasnβt great and the room felt quite stuffy. Even though it was already the end of August, the room still felt quite warm and poorly ventilated. At night, there was also quite a lot of noise coming from the hotel kitchen downstairs, which was quite disturbing. Apart from these points, the staff were all very nice and friendly."
