"The buffet breakfast was lovely every day and the room service was of a high standard. The staff at the hotel were very warm and welcoming. The hotel is centrally located near the harbour and major tourist attractions are not far away. Easy walk to the CBD and the Salamanca Markets on a Saturday. Great restaurants within walking distance, and the SkyWays Bus to the airport stops right outside. Would definitely stay again when we return to Hobart."

"A stunning property, full of stylish period features. We felt like we were the only guests staying and considered our stunning room with a view to be our 'home'. The onsite butler carried out his work so quietly we hardly knew he was there, but was always available to give friendly travel advice or assistance. Fantastic location in a charming historic village, complete with delicious eateries a short walk away. We will be back!!"

We encountered some concerns regarding the plumbing system in the ground floor rooms, specifically the noticeable sound of water usage from the upper floors. Additionally, the air conditioning unit, despite being switched off, emitted noise approximately every two hours throughout the night. We've left food in fridge and next...

"Valet parking is a $39 additional charge per night. Can add up a bit if staying for a while and you have to wait for 30 minutes for them to bring your car to you. Seems like an unnecessary expense but it can’t be avoided if you decide to bring a car when you visit."
