"From the moment we arrived, this hotel impressed us. The staff were warm, welcoming, and made a point of addressing me by first name, which was a lovely personal touch. The woman who checked us in was incredibly friendly and helpful. I wish I had caught her name because she truly made a great first impression and deserves a shoutout! "Very spacious King corner room with balcony over the water. Comfortable beds, very clean, mini fridge is quite big and handy for storing food items, balcony lovely for morning coffee. Excellent location, next door to a small market, and just a 5 min walk to train station with a Safeway, Shoppers, and many restaurants. Only lost one star because sound proofing not the best, we could hear the next room’s television until 1:30 am (don’t think it was really that loud) and there is a TikiBar next...

"We stayed at this apartment with our young kids after a day at the aquatic centre. When we arrived, we were surprised at the condition of the rooms. The bathroom had several (pubic) hairs all around the baseboards and tub, toothbrush splatters on the mirror, unswept/mopped floors, etc. I wish I’d thought to take more photos. There were not enough towels, pillows nor blankets for our group. Thankfully, we packed a cooler with snacks since the kitchen is not equipped for meal prep. Perhaps worst...

"Good basic hotel. My room was newly renovated. Staff were very polite and friendly. Breakfast was basic but good. Only complaint if it is even a complaint was there are not a lot of amenities within walking distance. The Surrey aquatic centre is literally in the same parking lot as hotel."

"The front desk staff were very friendly when I checked in, and I appreciated that I was given a newly renovated room. Unfortunately, the stay itself was not very restful. The bed was quite noisy, and there was also an odd noise coming from the fridge/counter area throughout the night. It would make several loud clunking noises, stop for an hour or two, and then start again. This continued the entire time I was in the room, including overnight. Because of the constant noise, I did not sleep...
