Nice hotel and convenient location right next to the skytrain. However, it was pretty loud because of the pub and sky train station, and that end of Colombia St wasn’t the cleanest or prettiest.

I liked the old building charm of The Met Hotel. The staff were lovely and helpful. The area was ok. Lots of close amenities, restaurants, grocery and pharmacies all close by. My room had a nice view of the river. I was in New West for surgery, The Met hotel was close to the clinic, inexpensive, clean enough and fine for what I needed. I would stay again, its basic but fine.

Very attentive and friendly staff. Very accommodating as we arrived an hour early and they had no problem allowing us to check in as the room was ready. It is an older building with lots of character. Nicely located next to sky train and you can be downtown Vancouver in a half hour. Great walk along the river to the market at the Quay.
