"The menu and restaurant staff were outstanding. Reception showed us to our room which was unexpected but much appreciated. The room was quaint, the electrics a bit of a mystery, but the hotel itself shone in all its Georgian glory."

"Not worth the money charged. £195 for a room. No biscuit, bottle of water. No heating in bathroom. Loud AC, lumpy bed. Nothing premium about the premium room. Booked 5 rooms and have to pay for them all individually rather than paying together so took ages. Lady who checked me in was apologetic. Don't pay for breakfast, it was not good quality at all with limited selections for the price they charge. Honestly not a good experience at all. Think they need to consider what they charge. If this was £100 maybe I wouldn't moan but to charge that much is extortionate with no added anything. Also £19 to park is insane! "

"Upon arrival the receptionist was very blunt/rude and not welcoming at all. Made a big fuss about parking my van around the back (like I did with no issue during my last stay) and said I should have contacted the hotel before, which I did with no reply. When I showed her the message she just shrugged it off and said we don’t check bookings made through a third party - but was very happy to take the £600 payment off me!"

"An amazing gluten free breakfast. Lovely lady stayed with us to go through options and we were not just handed an allergy file. "

"Great location and nice hotel but not a 5 star. The concierge and doorman were the best staff members, very helpful and nice but others we interacted with were not great, especially in the bar and restaurant. The spa and thermal waters were nice but very crowded. "
