"This was our second stay at the Emerald Inn. We stayed last year and liked it so much that we booked again for December, but in the meantime needed a last-minute trip and decided to try them again — glad we were able to get a room. It didn’t disappoint. The room was clean and comfortable. A little kitchenette is a great bonus even though we didn’t use it, and having a coffee press in the room was a huge plus. "Lovely stay, kindly accommodated our earlier arrival (we were allowing extra time for possible road closures), very clean and compact, we had everything we needed. A couple of steps to watch (trip hazards), shower water turned hot when toilet flushed, and no full length mirror."

"Nice friendly staff, however the cleanliness of the property was not good. The first room I was given had a large stain on the carpet. The carpets in the hallways are also covered in stains. They really need to replace the carpets. Parking was always available and the location was good, very central to the lower North Shire which I needed."
