"A basic lodging for travellers in a good location. It is surrounded by quite a number of eateries, pub, restaurants & fast foods. The room is clean and the bed is comfortable. However my room is right next to the recycle bin area that noise appears whenever staffs dispose bottles and cans. I expected the noise stop at 10pm but it didn't. Sadly I was awake by the last noise at 11.30pm. Hopefully the hotel will address to this issue."

"Stayed in the Wellington Sofitel and found the staff there much friendlier. However, the staff at the Auckland hotel were adequate! Just not as friendly."
