Hotel Dekat Normansfield Theatre

"Gorgeous building and really great food with excellent breakfast choices"

"Wow in every aspect. We stayed in the Jane Seymour suite for 2 nights, its a lovely spacious room with tea/coffee making facilities and delicious shortbread biscuits. Milk and bottled water were also provided in the fridge. Plenty of sockets around the room. Bathroom equipped with both shower and roll top bath with plenty of Lewis and Cole toiletries. Storage closet with safe, ironing board and iron, hanging space and shelf with ample space to store suitcases etc. Free parking was superb and there...

"We stayed in a garden room at the hotel, and this was fine for a long weekend's stay and I'd happily use it again. The room was clean and tidy with good furnishings. The en suite bathroom too, was well appointed. There were some tea and coffee making facilities which we made use of and were fine. The location was ideal for us. Easily walkable from the railway station and very close to the river, bridge over the Thames and its associated amenities. It is also within easy walking distance of...

"Food choices very limited, tired hotel need some updating. Good Location"

"Stay here for the convenience/location and for all the amenities that they offer then for the room."

"The staff were great, the rooms were clean and modern, but they are the only positives, don’t really know how it’s a four star hotel? The car park is 100m walk behind the building and doesn’t feel secure in the slightest, I hope building was wrapped in scaffolding, not that this matters because the windows are frosted so you cannot see out of them, but more importantly you have to leave a £50 deposit, as a business traveller who stays in two hotels a week across the UK and Europe, this is the...

"Convenient location across from train station. Quiet rooms are at back of property. Staff person was very hard working and kind, but one person juggling numerous roles is not the best way to run a hotel. The carpet in the lobby was tattered and covered with leaves that had blown in the front door. The carpet in the room was worn and stained. Cupboard doors needed repair. The in-room extras were minimal but fine for 2 nights. Note: breakfast is not included."

"Great pub atmosphere"

"Friendly staff, had a real country pub feel but in town. Food was really good. Will definitely stay again, thank you"

"Good stay and great location"

"This was everything we needed. Good pub. Good food. Great staff. Perfect location for us. We will be back"

"Great stay with a great host. Thanks for having us."

"The room, no wider than 6 feet, no longer than 9 feet, the bathroom, a wc and washbasin that, at 5,5 and 10 stone, I needed to open the door to use. Absolute disgrace, looks nice until you stay there, the desk, all 18 inches of it covered by a fan. I checked out after 1 night. Never again"

"Excellent stay"
