"The very spacious bathroom, and bedroom, only criticisms are the lack of clothes storage, wardrobe was tiny with 6 hangers ,there were no drawers for clothing only 2 shelves, the room had more than enough space for a bit more storage furniture, the breakfast was nice but not warm enough, the self service coffee machine at breakfast didn't work, other than that it was ok, but for £120 a night I wouldn't stay there again"

"This is a lovely little hotel. The location is fantastic! Right round the corner from the Minster and amidst all the shops and bars. The room was quaint and the staff friendly and helpful. We arrived early but our rooms were ready, so that was a bonus. We stayed in room 2. It was small but lovely, the shower was powerful and hot. There was a kettle with free tea, coffee, biscuits and bottled water. The only down side was the bed was a little hard, the lighting wasn't great for doing makeup, and there was a chair in there which really wasn't needed, it just took up space in a n already small room. But these are minor issues. The breakfast was delicious, freshly cooked with a great choice from the menu. All in all it was a great stay and I would defiantly book here again."

"Only reason I didn’t give a 5 star is because the check staff tried to charge me for a booking I had already paid for - good job I was on the ball and had a receipt to prove. Room was great (albeit hot) and breakfast was also great, lovely restaurant staff, would definitely recommend and location was also a bonus."
