"We really enjoyed staying at Castaway. From our arrival the checkin process is relaxed and simple. The room was clean and tidy, the bed in our room was massive and comfy. The shower was great with good pressure. Grace at reception was excellent and is an assett to Castaway. Castaway is in a good location and is smaller than some other resorts, which made it quieter and relaxed. Arorangi has bells rung at 5am(!!) On weds/fri/sun for church, which was a shock the first time but doesnโt last long and is NOT a tsunami warning!"

"We have stayed here several times and have always been happy here. Unfortunately we had a few issues this stay. We upgraded to a 3 bedroom apartment and the price charged on arrival was a lot higher than when we booked this over the phone the day before. New management had made a lot of small changes which were a shame, but must be a cost reason. Check in was not the best this time. Made us think at looking at other accommodation options next time."

"We enjoyed our stay at the Crown. Food was excellent, staff were very friendly and helpful. One down side we found were that there were some children at the resort. As its adults only we did quesiton this and were told that they were allowed int he restaurant area...."

"Really clean modern villas. Staff friendly and helpful. BJs Tapas Bar food was really good and best cocktails on the island. Breakfast hamper was awesome, fresh bread, eggs, Cheese,butter and milk with other fruit and cereal."

"Would highly recommend and would stay again. Spacious clean rooms. Just across the road from the beach and had a nice refreshing pool. Used BBQ and borrowed reef shoes + snorkel. Nice vibe around the block as the rooms have terrace balconies opening to the garden and we were so lucky to have lovely easygoing neighbours ๐ Shop and dining options just few minutes away"

"Stepping out of the room onto the beach was awesome. The room was very comfortable but just a tiny bit dated - still everything was clean and working. The best thing about the place though was the attitude of the staff - they were so welcoming, helpful and personable. They couldn't have been better!"
