Wonderful resort. Great pool and bar. Very sweet poolside rooms if you want to step it up but the other rooms are also lovely. NZ$25 breakfast buffet is a great offering. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Cook Island bus stops right out front.

The rooms were clean but needed a bit of updating there was only one channel on TV. The pool in the bar area were nice. The breakfast was adequate but you could pay to have extras like bacon and eggs if you chose to. you could catch the shuttle to the Edgewater hotel which is the sister hotel . The Local bus stops outside $35 for 10 trips around the island . Happy hour was twice a day .

The resort was well positioned right on the lagoon and had a lovely pool and grounds. The room was large and clean but there was no TV, which I thought was a total failure. Some down time watching a movie after a big day out or during wet weather seems like a basic inclusion for an adults resort. The World Cup Soccer was also on so a TV would have been nice. It’s strange too because all the connections for a TV were in the room. The cleaner was fantastic and other staff were helpful. The breakfast was very disappointing. Toast, cereal, a bit of fruit and self serve tea and coffee. A $25 surcharge for a hot breakfast seemed excessive. I enjoyed my stay there but I’ll stay somewhere else next time I’m in Raro.
