"The staff there was uber nice and accommodating. They total focused on the customer experience. My college kids enjoyed the gym and I appreciate the bubbly water offered. The refrigerator was not a frig but just a cooler so that could be improved. Modern design and great use of space and eco friendly hotel. Bike rental was good though we had bad luck and had a flat tire. The hotel manager was sympathetic and made an adjustment to one day’s rental for that one bike when we checked out, which was...

"Everything about this property was beautiful. We had a lovely attic room and lovely helped carry our luggage up the steep stairs for us. the restaurant down below the hotel had fantastic food and the service in both areas was amazing. They also supplied a coupon for coffee and a pastry across the street each day that we stayed in a funky little coffee shop, as well as providing bikes that we rode every day. I would recommend this little boutique property to anybody"

"This property has tons of Amsterdam character. It is located within walking distance of Amsterdam Centraal and within the tourist canal areas. The room was comfortable and clean. My favorite part was the owners. They were extremely helpful with travel tips and so nice! We enjoyed this stay immensely."

"Beautiful waterfront property near downtown Amsterdam, right next to the Pontsteiger ferry stop. Westerpark is easily walkable which is a nice change of pace from the city centre. Plenty of cafes, restaurants and shops with significantly less tourist traffic! Staff was extremely helpful and accommodating! Note all rooms are on the ground level, and wifi was spotty likely because of all concrete pillars. Rooms are also typically small like most European city centre hotels "

"This place has a distinct "hostel" vibe, and a primarily 20-something clientele. As a middle-aged person I felt a bit out of place. However, it's clean, the staff are professional and friendly, and the facilities are cute. Great breakfast and bar, too! Be aware that some of the pods (odd numbers) are accessed via a small ladder, like a bunk bed. I am a spry 50-year-old, but I have to admit it was a bit tricky to get in and out. "The owner Angelo is super nice. The property is a little aged but Angelo provides umbrella and international charger for you. You really don’t need to bring all these extras if you are staying at Crown Guesthouse. It is also right next to 90% of the touristy sites in Amsterdam center and everywhere is walkable. 12 mins to the train station, 10 mins from Anne Frank house, 20mins from Bloemenmarkt and red light district, tram and bus on the next street. Highly highly recommend Crown Guesthouse. "
