It was a good n a very affortable experience. Staff very friend n very helpful. Need a little more detail in cleaning. Bed not changed in 3 days. I do not know what the standard change time is. Overall it was a good experience.

Friendly staff and comfortable
Staff were super friendly and helpful. They helped us book a transport to I-Resort and gave us lots of advice. Breakfast had a choice of meals and were tasty. Room was clean and comfortable but it was very small and the shower drained slowly. Staff did their best to solve the drain problem and did fix it. Room wa comfortable but lacked Windows to see outside.

The staffs are very helpful and passion. They have gave a lot of information about Nha Trang, suggestion about where to visit and the range of price for our meal and transportation fees.

Disgusted with fleas micro bugs on all surfaces
Completely disgusted, disappointed and dissatisfied. I arrived to the hotel after 10 hours of flight and layover only to find out when checking in and getting a room that the hotel room was infested with fleas or some kind of micro bugs. I walked in only to notice that the sink area had them all over, upon further inspection, the headboard, side table, counter under the tv and coffee area had them all over as well. Disgusted as I was, I notified reception and told them about the issue, they said they don’t have any more rooms in that category of one double bed etc, they said I should just stay in the room and the next day I can get my room changed. As disappointed as I was, initially they said they couldn’t do anything, then they finally said they had a family room on the first floor no windows though, I said ok, let me check it out and see. Upon taking the other room, eventually I noticed the walls were dirty and black, at some point after looking closely onto the furniture I noticed more of the flea sized bugs. I immediately notified the front desk and wanted out. What likely traveler would stay in an infested hotel to maybe only wake up with bed bug bites let alone having the fear that they can enter my luggage and I’d likely be transporting them home. I immediately asked for a full refund as now I had to not only find another hotel to stay but also arrange my own transportation. The reception did not seem apologetic to my circumstance. They said we can offer you a partial

Average hotel in good location in need improvement
Average budget hotel near to the beach. We stayed 5 nights (paid in advance - or we would have moved.) On arrival room was not that clean, toilet seat broken. We asked for this to be fixed twice and it was on the second day. The location is ok. It's about 10 minute walk down to the main touristy area of bars, shops and restaurants. Beach is 5 minute walk away. Staff were helpful in arranging things. Breakfast experience was not good. Your free breakfast entitles you to one drink and one food item.. any more and you will be asked to pay. Also the breakfast team were not very helpful of polite. There needs to be a review by management and some changes made to improve this hotel. As it is, we would not recommend.

Tight and cramped but okay
The room is quite small and cramped. Although there seems to be some upgrades in the bathroom, the finishes and and construction is poor since there are many flaws and unfinished work like holes in the walls and no shower door. Overall it's okay but we've seen better for this price. The service was good and the staff was nice. The location is off the main street by 2 blocks.

It's ok for one or two nights but I wouldn't stay there any longer. The rooms aren't nice and I couldn't close the window in the bathroom fully.

Handy 5 minute easy walk to beach. Handy to most things. Tidy and clean. Value for money.decent size room. Basic breakfast gets you going. Only complaint is we had Luke warm to cold shower for 3 days eve though we asked for it to be fixed. Staff very helpful and plesant apart from that. Would stay here again.

Good hotel except bugs in the room
The hotel was not too far from the beach. It would been great experience except their were bugs in the room that make me afraid to go back to their hotel. One of the nights, ants were in the room. The other night, there were big bugs crawled on the bed. I hope management can take this bugs issue into consideration. As foreigners, we are very scare of bugs.

Good standard budget hotel
Nice room - and good standard for price, not on the beach, but I didn't want to be so that was fine. Room was clean (By Vietnam standard). My only problem was air-con unit was above my bed so noisy at night and chill on neck/shoulder in the morning. The local beach is OK - if you are Russian then you will probably love it - but there are much nicer areas in the surrounds.

You can ask for coupons for some attractions from the tour desk. There is also a computer and printer for you to use to print things.

Great value!
I've stayed at several hotels in this area of Da Nang during the past three years and Tristar is the only one to which I'd return, The location suits me well, with plenty of dining choices, yet not so "touristy". The staff is ultra-friendly and welcoming. Breakfast is "to order", with my favorite being eggs benedict. W-fi signal was strong. Safety/security was never a concern. Bottom line is I consider Tristar a great choice.

Great hotel close to the beach
Very nice staff. I made an error on my travel dates and arrived a day early. They where able to accommodate me. I also prepaid my hotel through orbitz and that worked well. No hassles.

Good basic stay
Nice budget hotel. Was close to the beach and nha trang shopping. It is a modern hotel and it's hard to believe from the look of it that it's 2.5 stars. Although I stayed 3 nights and room was only cleaned once. Few ants in the room but didn't bother us. Lovely view of the city from our room too. Nice breakfast as well!

Our room was on 1st floor, anove the kitchen - no sleep in here! The kitchen was noisy from 530am each morning and it was impossible to sleep past this time. The room was clean although a little small for the price. I have to say the service given by the tour desk lady was the highlight of the stay. The shower was only hot 1 of the 3 days we stayed and the 'knob' to turn on hot water on obviously didnt work. The in rom safe was locked and we were told someone would fix it but they didnt. The wifi was ok for just browsing, but doenload/upload was woeful. The reception staff were really good at checkout.

The staff here is incredible friendly, very helpful and patient. Rooms are clean and the included breakfast gets you started in the morning. Great for the price. Also out of main tourist area but still central so everything is accessible.

Amazing Staff Makes this Hotel Worth It.
The hotel itself is pretty standard. Nice, basic rooms with pretty comfortable beds, though there was an issue with lack of hot water in the shower. The location was great, just a few minutes walk from the beach and a large shopping centre, yet away from the uber-touristy section of town. The best aspect of the hotel was the staff, who were incredibly friendly and willing to help us book tours, find local food, and even offered us a shower after we took a snorkeling trip on the day we checked out. They really made the hotel a great experience.

This hotel has everything you need to be comfortable. The standard room size is a bit small but ok. The bed is the most comfortable we have had in 4 months of traveling Asia. The room was cleaned every day. The shower was enclosed so the bathroom didn't get wet. With everything being so good with the hotel, the staff are who really make it Amazing!! They booked us our train ticket to Hoi An and our friends flights to Saigon. No up charges on anything. They were always happy to suggest a restaurant and arrange the taxi to get us there. Best service we have experienced anywhere in the world.

Stayed just one night but would happily stay for more. New hotel with immaculate rooms. Good wifi, comfy bed and nice bathroom. Room wasn't big but everything was lovely. The staff were incredibly helpful. They booked us bus tickets and vinpearl tickets. They even let us have a shower at the end of the day after we had checked out. 10/10

Room very comfortable however it was small so not much room for luggage and moving about, the bed and bathroom were very high standard though. Modern decor, the staff were very friendly and helped us with everything we needed including renting bikes. A bit out of the way but close to the beach and a few restaurants close by.

Had an amazing stay here! The girls behind the counter went above and beyond to help out! They booked a taxi for the day, booked reservations at different places, booked airport transfers, exchanged money and recommend top food places! This hotel is great for the price. It is about a 3-5 minute ride to the beach! Rooms were clean and comfortable. Nothing too fancy, but well worth the price. Great for 1-2 people, may be a little cramped for anymore. Had a great window view into the city, don't expect a good view of the beach as this hotel isn't on the beach. Downstairs, you can rent a moped and sign up for tours of halong bay. Overall, everything a budget minded traveler would need.

When we arrived at the hotel at 7am off an overnight from Hoi an we realised we had left our passports at the last hotel. Nightmare. But for the fabulous manager at Tristar, this was no problem. She simply rang our last hotel and arranged for them to be brought on the overnight bus the following day, she also went to collect them for us from the bus station. We were also allowed to check in to our room at 7am which. Is unheard of in he hotel business. This was amazing as we had hardly slept on the night bus and quickly caught up on our sleep. We can't ask her enough for this. The hotel was perfect, really lovely and close to everything. We rented scooters from the hotel which made it so easy to get around. The Staff and the hotel are both fabulous! Thank you again.

Tristar's close proximity to the railway station and the beach was a deciding factor when we picked this hotel but we were very pleasantly surprised with our choice. The staff were extremely pleasant, our room very spacious and the bed the most comfortable we've encountered during our 2 months travelling.
