The team were very accommodating when we realised the beautiful 2 bedroom apartment we booked was on the top floor and then an additional set of stairs to get up to the apartment. My mum had recent knee surgery and found it difficult to get up the set of stairs. When we spoke to the team at reception they were more than happy ro accomodate and move us to the ground floor which was much better for my mum. The apartment was clean, spacious and came with all the things like shampoo, conditioner and body wash which smelt amazing!! Would definitely recommend and will be back

The good * Easy Check-in/Check-out * Polite and professional Front Desk/Service staff * Well renovated and maintained heritage property which gives it an old world charm * Convenient location Work-ons * Bathroom had cracked/fatigued tiles * House keeper did not clean/wipe surfaces and make the bed (which is expected from a premium property) * Parking is on the expensive side ($30 a night)

The room when I checked in was not as it is shown in the picture. It was smelling as there was no proper ventilation. Theres no window at all which can be opened. The AC stopped working in the middle of the night. The linen and Bed was damp and cold. Had to use a spare blanket from the closet. It was a terrible experience. Also I couldnt get a parking spot and had to park in the street.

Stay was very good, rooms are serviced everyday, fresh towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner , coffee, milk, tea, everyday replenished. Staff are very friendly...travis was awesome! Highly recommended.

Enjoyable stay.
Loved staying at Quest West Newcastle. From before our arrival they communicated about the deposit & checkin process. On arrival we were greated promptly and checked in within 5 mins. The rooms were amazing with the high ceilings and beams. And very comfortable and clean. We highly enjoyed our stay and cant wait to visit again.

Didn't realise from the photos that our two bed apartment windows would all be at ground level and face to the carpark and street. Even with the sheer curtains people can look straight in so needed to have heavier curtains closed at all times for privacy and therefore no natural light. Otherwise, the space was a good size, it was clean, beds comfortable and facilities all that we needed.

Noisy stay at Quest West
The Quest is well located for access to the Light Rail and the unit was well appointed. Our 2 bedroom unit was however located at ground level with bedroom windows facing directly onto the street. On Friday and Saturday night there was much noise from pedestrians talking and laughing at 2am plus thumping noises from the music at the pub across the road. Ear plugs were provided but a higher level room would be more private. Another issue is the parking. This should be included with the room rate.

Nice place to stay, apartment was comfortable and airy. Warm days were offset by air-con in all rooms Worth noting that earplugs are provided as there is some noise from a venue across the street that was quite noisy in the background

Property called me day before check in, discovered one of the 3 rooms I booked had been cancelled (they blamed Expedia, despite booking through hotels.com). Informed me Hotel was fully booked for studios, offered me a one bedroom suite, informed them happy to take this but would not be paying extra. Miraculously a studio became available. Only one paid parking spot available at check in despite informing them We needed 3, 2 of us had to park at parking garage across the street. Property tried to overcharge one of our party despite me telling them the total cost would be split 5 ways. My studio faced the main road, blockout curtains did not reach end of windows, had to place suitcases against wall to block out light. Bedside lamps were dusty. Only 2 small soaps and one small shampoo and conditioner made available. No shower cap provided.

Excellent studio apartment with great sleeping and full amenities including good sized bar-fridge and a coffee plunger and full cooking utensils and kitchenware. Excellent clean spaces and good sized bathroom with easy access shower.
