close to the main road . shopping & dining close by . nice big tv . breakfast is minimal . can't check in until right at 3pm or later . soap & shampoo dispensers did not work . had to remove toilet lid & manually lift the mechanism to flush the toilet . the handle could not lift it to flush .

Stayed in same room for 3 wweks. #117 each week there was no conditioner in the shower. Nothing waw changed or cleaned. There is no coffee/juices out feont nor in the morning as it states online.

I travel to Eau Claire once a week. The rooms are not bad by any means. The building has is either under renovation or they don't really care about appearance. The one thing I care about most because I travel is breakfast. They even tell you they have breakfast when you check in. You go out for breakfast and all they have is cereal. Like not even milk. To toast. No muffins. No bagels. Nothing except plain f****** cereal. Not going back unless they fix that.

Nice but lackluster
When you walk in the front door, there was another door that was open and was filled with trash bags at the bottom of the stairs, and it smelt horrible. There was no one at the reception desk, so you had to dial 0 to get someone up front for checking in. The room wasn't bad, but the shampoo and, conditioner dispensers on the wall of the shower were completely ran dry. The room itself was spacious and was really nice. The best part of the room was the jacuzzi tub but the rest was just a normal standard room.

Don’t stay even if it’s the only place left….
When we checked in we didn’t even know where the front door was. We knew we were staying in a “low” budget hotel, but it doesn’t describe what we stayed in. The bathroom was half out of commission. Soap dispenser didn’t work, and there was no other soap. The curtains were falling off. There was a random extension cord plugged in and running under the bed. There was no shelf above the coat rack. That was all nothing compared to when we looked under the bed. There were 4-6 empty beer cans and bottles. Who knows how long they were there…. I understand that we were staying in a low cost hotel, but this was just unacceptable. When we left I couldn’t tell anyone about it because there was a sign that said leave keys here. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. Buy and beware.

location is near a lot of stores and food. the room wasn't very clean and there were a lot of holes in the wall. Part of the curtain was missing. The front desk employee was very nice!!

RUN AWAY AND SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE
The room was disgusting. No light fixture, bulbs were just hanging from the ceiling. Rubber trim in bathroom was moldy and peeling off or off entirely. Toilet seat was hanging on by one bolt. Comforter had so many rips/snags in it. Walls were dirty with hand prints and one spot had the repair patch with spackle so poorly done, you could see the entire patch just covered in paint! Mirror was foggy/dirty in the corner with no light, couldn’t use until you pulled the curtains all the way open. Checked in at 330, went to a wedding, was back at 845 and decided to drive the 2 hours home instead of staying the night. Spent all of 10 minutes in the room! When leaving we were asked why and we told them about the room. No acknowledgment given, no apologies or offered a different room or discount. The staff could care less!

It was nice that it was close to shopping. However, When you first walked into my room , you would notice the following: the curtain was broke and sagging at one end, the entryway light was missing it's cover, the TV had a black mark running full lenght down the screen, the toilet somehow plugged in the middle of the day while I was away (the front desk just hands me a plunger which didn't fix it) and finally the bath towels were stained and still moist from being washed that day... I will not use Expedia again..

No such thing as a no smoke smell free place in the complex. There are cig. burn holes in bedding, carpet, bathroom sink, floor, tub. The continental breakfast “is poor” at best. With all that said it’s worth maybe 60.00 dollars a night. We will pay the extra 25.00 to stay down the street next time we are in the area.

My only complaint about my stay was the issue with the remote, it turned the tv but wouldn't change the channel, went to the desk, recieved another remote, which didn't even turn the tv on. Went back to the front desk, was told don't have any other remotes your out of luck! Wasn't offered any solutions, not another room, or help finding another remote.

This place is a dump. We were in town for a motorcycle rally and booked this months in advance. I should have been more diligent in my hotel search because we were "trapped" staying here for 8 days because there was nothing else available. Now about the property; the first issue was the fact that the front of the bathroom vanity was on the floor under the sink. There were 2 rolls of open toilet paper, neither on any type of dispenser. The caulking around the tub was filled with mold. The bedroom area was a terrible. The carpet was stained and smelled. There were no bedside tables or lamps. No coffee maker. Horrible conditions. Oh, and no functional ice machine. We had to purchase our own or make the trip to the front desk for our ration of daily ice. Note that I brought these issues to the attention of the front desk. The attitude was basically "it is what it is". They have a "refund policy" taped to the front desk counter which basically says that once they have your money you're not getting it back. Knoq that there are much better, updated properties available in the area. If you stay here you're in for a terrible experience.

This was so disappointing. We came for a wedding in the area. We had 3 rooms total with my family. 1 of the rooms had a big black line in the TV, plus a spongy bathroom floor. 1 room had all of the contents of the shower gels leak all over the bathtub. Our room had a missing front part of the sink, dangerous and disgusting. Some of the pillows were dirty. The "breakfast" they offer was ridiculous. Everything was out and when we asked if we could get more, the man was good about getting it, but had to refill the milk carafe 3 times as it barely held anything. When checking out, the lady was nowhere to be seen. Eventually she came out of the bathroom after we were waiting awhile. I definitely would not recommend this place to anyone. It was much cheaper than other places, but i would say spend the money, and don't stay here.

The only thing I can say on a positive note is that the air conditioner was in working order, the condition of the room was far from good. I’m not sure if the room was in the process of being painted or what but it was far from complete, the wires on the bathroom light fixture were exposed and hanging down, the trim around the window wasn’t even there, and that brings me to the microwave, I’m not even sure to explain it without getting a bit sick to my stomach! Even if you expect me to overlook the rest of the issues of exposed wiring in a room with a shower a microwave that is as un sanitary as that cannot be over looked. I’ve never posted a review before positive or negative however I couldn’t let this one slide. If the room that was provided was not complete and in acceptable condition at very least we should have been made aware of it. Given that we were 300mi from home to attend an event we had no option other than to make the best of the situation. That being said I will definitely bring a tent next time so atleast we have an option whether to stay in such a room or sleep elsewhere. Definitely not a good reference from me! Sorry to have to be that guy but in 61 years this been my most unfortunate experience to date, thanks for the opportunity to air this out.

The manager went out of her way to provide excellent service to us when we stayed there after a concert last week. The room was clean and comfortable. This is a conveniently located and reasonably priced travel motel.
