"Check in was easy, the staff was friendly and professional. The rest needs improvement! Room carpet was stained. The room smelled of smoke. The towel was stained. Some electrical outlets didn’t work. I waited 20 minutes for the shared bathroom. 6 or more rooms to one bathroom. Paint was peeling, tiles were cracked. For the price, I would expect better, considering that I had to share a bathroom. "

"Everyone was very helpful, and the room was really very nice. This is a small hotel in a semi-industrial area, which may not be as appealing as a large hotel downtown, but it was a good place to stay while I was in Boston. I also agree that the reviews are mixed, but my room was very clean though, and the bed was comfortable and everything was well maintained. "We had a great time at the Verb while visiting Boston. There were a couple of issues with our room when we checked in but we spoke to Carly at the front desk and she took care of everything for us. Housekeeping was great, valets were very attentive, all and all a great stay. Really unique place for rock and roll fans. "

I was a little bit confused about breakfast because the message from them said no breakfast would be provided due to the MA guidelines (no further explanationon what the guidelines are), but i overheard that they said something about breakfast to other customers.
