"It was super sketchy looking when we pulled up. Checked in and the lobby smelled, parked car around back and it was a bit scary. Walked into room that didnt feel safe, place smelled. The bathtub was old blue and dirty. The beds had large pivots in them, I was scared to use blacklist on bedding. My daughter didnt want to spend night as it was disgusting and she didn't feel safe. We didn't go back, drive home 3 hours instead. They would not refund me any money, not even a call back. $175...

"What a lovely property! We only stayed one night but wish we could have stayed longer! The room was impeccably clean, and grounds were relaxing. We were able to walk to some delicious local restaurants as well. Staff was so friendly and welcoming!!"

"Staff was friendly. Room was very clean and did not have any odors, however the bed was horribly uncomfortable and our tv remote did not work. Our neighbors were rather loud however the room served it's purpose and was not the worst expereince."

"This is a pretty tired property that has fallen behind on basic upkeep. The breakfast is very minimal with corn flakes and English muffins the stand out items. Definitely protein-free fare. No housekeeping service at all and the toiletries are below basic."

"So, we have been going to the Claremont Motor Lodge for several years now. We really like the location as it's quite close to Weathersfield, VT. The rooms are clean, but somewhat small. Privacy during the warmer months can be challenging due to your motor lodge neighbors sitting out in front near your room. Management just began having free coffee in the lobby from 7-9am. Wish that it could be 6 or 6:30 am since we are early risers. All in all, a comfortable stay for the price."

"If on the Birneys side on a weekend from 10pm until 2am very loud and then at 530am the trash trucks wake you again, Karen was very nice but location is not family friendly 7 bars in one block not good for mature adults the younger crowd has zero respect for anyone too bad it is one of the more updated new refurbished on the beach"
