"What a tropical paradise! We were blown away by Hideaway! If you are looking for a private, family or couple getaway, this is the best place around! The simplicity might be a little less than what some want, but the stay met every one of our needs. The environment was beautiful and the beach was our favorite on the island! The power on the island went out almost every night which is terrible for someone who has to use a CPAP to sleep. It seemed as though all of the units around us had generators. "Air Conditioning was nice. House keeping came daily. Rooms were spacious but bathrooms are tiny, limited towels, staff was not helpful, beds were very hard, rooms flooded from rain storm was told to put luggage on bed. Never tried to do anything about it. Front desk was VERY slow. Rooms were not ready at 4. They had muffins and water daily. NOT worth the price."

"The best and worth part of staying here is the view aside from that breakfast was free it helped a lot with spending money on food also because the only way to eat is actually getting into a taxi and finding everything else since you are on the top of a mountain and there’s nothing near or around there unless you’re driving or taking a taxi which are per person and becomes very expensive after a few rides a day. Did wish the breakfast was more flexible as you only have 2 options to choose from...

"This hotel exceeded expectations, cool vibe, great grounds, very clean. The room was really nice, the large swing chair on the patio was a nice touch. My only room complaint was a more private toilet door and the facet’s stream was very unusual for a hotel sink. We hung out at both the pool - so many pools to choose from- and beach, both were quite nice. It would have been nice for beach toys to be included rather than being an additional charge. "Our stay at the Westin was great , all of our needs were met by pretty much the restaurants and bars. It was great we could visit the sister resort with a free shuttle or short walk along the coastline. Property was beautiful!!!"

"Everything was perfect at the St. John Inn! Karen was lovely and a friendly host. The room and property was clean and welcoming, and we really appreciated the amenities they offered. "The beach is rocky and has lots of growth. The pool is nice. The paths could use some extra lighting. The room towels were not high quality. There was no activity schedule. Concierge was not super friendly. Telephone never worked, even when we reported it, it didn’t get fixed. This made it difficult to request a cart on departure. Overall a nice property, comfortable room with extra attention to details this resort could be 5 star. I’d give it a solid 4 maybe 4.25."
