We enjoyed the view, and the room was very nice. One should be aware the sea view rooms can potentially be a bit loud due to all the pedestrian traffic along the sea wall. Not bad with door closed but if you want it open, it’s loud especially over a weekend. Didn’t take away from the overall experience. Elements bar was great! Great service and great food. Breakfast was also great! We enjoyed our stay, thank you!

We are a well travelled family and have never had such terrible experience like the one we had in the Royal Continental Hotel, Naples. The staff were not friendly. We were given a room that was not cleaned or prepared for check in and when we expressed our concern, we were given a different room. The bathrooms had a sewer smell all the time, the bath tub had mildew, the sink was not cleaned , only 2 bath towels were given for 3 people and there was no hand lotion or slippers. Very bad breakfast, you do not have the choice of picking up your own food. Instead, we had to request the staff to pick up food from the buffet for you. We had to pay extra for a vegetable omelette and French toast. The omelette had lots of spinach and water inside and French toast was nothing but fried plain bread with icing sugar on top. We asked to borrow some cutlery and were told we needed to pay €8 for this. Overall, we had an overwhelmingly negative experience at the Royal Continental Hotel and we would not recommend staying here while in Naples.

Beautiful hotel and perfect location. A lot of dinning options less than 5 minutes away. Amenities were good except the AC, for some reason you're not allowed to adjust the temperature when it's cold outside, it only let's you use the heater. Besides that, everything was excellent.

Amazing location, great view of the bay of Naples. 15 minute walk to good Naples food at the galleria (nearby restaurants have beautiful views but bland food.) Staff at hotel very kind, treated us very well.

Staff: efficient, but not very friendly. The temperature control: Thermostat could not be set <24.5 C; below that, one had to use the terrace door to control the temp. Breakfast was adequate, but with small served portions and limited choices.

The hotel was incredibly busy because of a medical conference and as casual tourists it would t have been our preference to stay there because of that. On the other hand, staff were competent, helpful & professional. We appreciated an upgrade to our room. Unfortunately, the air conditioner was not working well & the weather was warm. Nothing we did with the thermostat made it any cooler in our room.
