Staff were lovely and very clean.
Could hear the person next door snoring.
Didn't like how you coudn't have a shower in the morning and communal bathroom not available till after 3pm.
A great location very close to main shops, the bus depot, multiple Onsens and a really short walk to the ski lifts (which is critical when carrying and walking in ski gear). Breakfast was traditional and a great experience - the hotel drove us down to the bus terminal when leaving which was a great help when travelling as a group of 6 rather than lugging our bags through the snow. The room cost was high for the accommodation (it was 2.5 times the price that we paid for something even better, right in the middle of Tokyo that has it's own bathroom).
