"Excellent facility with beautifully curated and serene setting. The staff were professional, friendly and helpful. The rooms were well thought through and we especially enjoyed the views of the street/city and the tea and coffee station. Lastly the Muji cafe was a surprisingly tasty breakfast option and worth including as part of the stay package. We’ll be looking forward to staying at future Metropolitans and certainly keen to return to the one in Kamakura again. "

"Very cute guest house, we enjoyed our stay in the family room. The staff was very accommodating and hold our luggage prior to checking in. There’s a very good soba/udon restaurant (Dote) nearby. The beach is very close by as well. "

"We had a great stay at this 100-year-old Japanese home. The mix of traditional architecture and modern updates was impressive, and the house was clean, comfortable, and easy to settle into. Tadao, the host was very responsive and made communication a pleasure. We only wished we had booked a longer stay. Would definitely recommend a relaxing stay directly across the rd from the beach. "This was a great hostel located with-in easy walking distance to the train and bus station, as well as many dining options. The staff were helpful and pleasant, and we never felt unsafe. Definitely would return."
