However, the staff is not at the reception desk at all times and only when you make prior appointment to meet them. The apartment is very updated and met all of our needs, however the WALLS are paper thin and you can definitely hear your neighbors breathing (not exaggerating). "Lovely hotel, amazing views, manicured gardens, excellent staff, (Carmen, Martina, Connie, Gaetano, Valentina, Laura, Roberta to mention but a few) good spa. However, there were 2 major issues which were not in keeping with a 5* at this price point: 1) there is a huge unattached manhole on the road in front of the hotel which makes a racket every time a car drives over it and keeps you up at night through the night; 2) a horrible drain stench from the toilet / bidet in the rooms. "This is an excellent place to stay in Sorrento. The location is perfect in the Palazzo Tesso where you can easily go to all the restaurants, shops, and Port to catch a ferry to Capri easily.
