"We stayed here for a night on a trip down south, and we were blown away with how nice the room and property were. The owners were extremely generous and provided us with smores to cook with our kids in the fireplace in the covered porch area. Couldn't recommend this place enough "

"A beautiful and large room with a king size bed! The lake was beautiful, even though I didn't have a lake facing room. I could still enjoy it from the other spots on the property. The bed was very comfortable and the property was very quiet. Loved the stay. The only thing that I could say was the on site resturant is not open on Mondays, and that happened to be the day I was staying. Was hoping to get a glass of wine but unfortunately that didn't work out. But good to know for future...

First the good: The staff were friendly and helpful, the location is ideal - right in the heart of downtown easily walkable to many shops and restaurants. The room was attractive with soft linens and quality toiletries. However, the room was very small, and as such it didn't feel like the owners utilized the space efficiently. "The free chocolate chip cookies were still warm and soooo good that I ate two and I usually don't eat them!!! The bed was awesome as was the shower and plenty of plug ins! The towels were made up beautifully with little pockets to hold smaller towels or face cloths! A very nice caring extra touch! The breakfast is one of the best that I have seen with plenty of dining area. The staff was constantly checking everything. Outstanding hotel!"

"The hotel was 5 star all the way. The staff were all extremely pleasant and helpful. The manager was visible and offered dining, excursion and shopping suggestions. All excellent recommendations. Our suite was large yet had a cozy feel. Everything was immaculate. The breakfast was excellent from fresh berry compote to specialty pastries to imported coffee. A beverage bar was available 24/7. Breakfast out in the courtyard was quiet and lovely. The location was perfect for walking around town....
