"We asked to check in early and were told they were cleaning our room at 1. We kept checking back every hour or so and apparently they were still cleaning the room and then waiting for someone to come in and verify the job was done. By the time we got into our room right at 4 PM we noticed there was a base of a wine glass that was broken underneath the desk as well as a few shards of glass near it. "The room was clean and quiet. I also loved the location. The only issue I had was that the stovetop did not work. I tried to send a picture, as suggested but I didn’t hear back."

"The whole unit was clean and accommodating. The only negative thing I would say would be the bedding. Very basic and had very lumpy comforter. Wasn’t the best sleep. Expected a little bit more quality at that price point. Other than that, great spot."

Le Personel était très acceuilant et très attentif au bien-être du visiteur/client. "Nice hotel in a great location. Easy walks to Old Montreal, waterfront, St Catherine's st, or downtown. Grocery store (IGA) and shopping mall with food court 5 min walk as are lots of restaurants. Room was large and VERY quiet. Beds were nice, slept well here. Breakfast was good. No hot eggs, sausage etc but the baked goods were of high quality ( croissants, bagels, bread) and the coffee was from a high end espresso machine. No complaints, we'd stay here again."

"This beautiful old house was near Bell Centre and the Metro. A perfect location for getting to a Habs game or touring around the city. We called the staff when our plane arrived early and they opened the door to allow us to store our luggage because the front desk is not open until 4pm. The rooms are warm and the bathrooms very intimate. The tub was very relaxing after long days walking around Montreal. There is a kitchen for coffee and a relaxing deck to share with the other guests."

"Had a wonderful stay at Kutuma. Very small hotel, only 8 rooms. But they are beautiful. So amazingly well appointed. Large, functional kitchen, great bathroom including jacuzzi, lots of little touches. Also love the fact that they have individual shampoo and bath gel bottles rather than the gross yuck stuff. Service is great , we were even offered tea and coffee at check in. Location is excellent, next to the subway and Latin quarter. This is a great little gem. Will definitely return"

"The room was rather small with no comfortable chairs to sit in. The hotel was clean and modern. Checkin was quick. Parking was extra. The restaurant breakfast was quite nice, enjoyed it. However, no cream for the coffee, only milk...a faux pas in our books! Great location, close to Old Montreal. Overall we did enjoy our stay, it just wasn't a $350 night kinda room, was expecting more. "

"Our reservation was canceled without any notification, so we had to find another hotel upon arrival, which took us another 4 to 5 hour, front desc was helpful, however all situation was obsoletely unacceptable!! Big time Expedia and hotel communication failure."

"This is a great spacios place to be able do a few extra things in the middle of our travels. The kitchen was nice to be able to start our days with a coffee for one of us and a kettle allowed me the tea that I love as I am one of those tea snobs that brings her own loose tea! The in suite laundry was the other hi-light. The place was big enough to be the meeting spot for our friends and us to relax and visit as well. I highly recommend."

"This is a great choice in Montreal. Located in a funky area with lots of good dining and shops, the suite I had was spacious, clean, comfortable and quiet. Two minor points were the excessive number of messages from the host, each of which required going to a website rather than just receiving the message, and not having hot water in the shower in the morning."
