Very convenient for visiting the U of I campus. Literally right across the street! We walked everywhere we went. No need to drive. Lots or restaurants and convenience shopping in the area. The hotel was very clean, but no frills. The workout room and pool are very small. The breakfast very simple.

On site food market could have been bigger/ more selections. Only fast food within walking distance. Get fresh fruit and veggies in the cooler. Great for candy and chips.

We love the lobby area where you can sit with your group and play games, chat, etc. The beds are a bit hard.

The front desk staff was amazing when I checked in. He was very nice, personable and had a good recommendation for Gambinos. Very clean, comfortable beds, nice snack and wine/beer bar area and good breakfast.

You need a bigger new sign showing how to get to the property. I drove around for am hour using my GPS and it ran me around in circles. I finally called and asked how do i get there. When i finally found the tiny sign it looked more like i was going into a store parking lot.. Your person at the desk stayed on the phone with me untill i finally found the place. He was super friendly and helpful.

Only 3rd day housekeeping offered and that is also not done even after repetitive request. Manager Allison Radel at this property avoids to talk to you so she doesn’t have to face the issue. Stayed 3 nights with no housekeeping service and when talk to front desk they said sorry and Blair it to housekeeping and when I asked to talk to manager, they suggested she won’t be at the property for few days and will contact me after I leave to compensate the inconvenience but no one contacted. Won’t stay in future or recommend anyone this property.

Since your reservation was due to check out on the 3rd day, we did not automatically offer room service on the 2nd day. Your request for room service on the 2nd day of your stay was communicated with our Housekeeping Team, but because you left a DO NOT DISTURB sign on your door, our Room Attendant was unable to enter your room. In the future, we do suggest removing the DO NOT DISTURB sign if you would like Room Attendants to follow through with your request for room service.Again, thank you for providing feedback on your most recent stay.Sincerely,Allison Radel
