Great seafront location and very comfortable bed. Receptionist was wonderfully helpful, and evening meals were good with attentive staff; more so than at breakfast. Parking was confusing, shower door faulty, website outdated, and some small breakfast and room issues (missing condiments, exposed bulb).

Late night check-in and stopover after getting off the Isle of Man ferry at midnight. The only place with 24 hour check in without going to Lancaster, 2nd time staying, got a newly renovated room, very comfy bed and a great breakfast the next morning. Will 100% use this hotel again if in Morecambe

a good place to stay

Really good stay, staff are always really helpful, room clean and comfortable. Sometimes the wifi can drop but it's manageble with working. Rooms nearby were quiet noisy this time, I've stayed before and never heard anyone, all was quiet by midnight and a good nights sleep. Overall recommend, lovely location and great value, thank you team

Nice hotel and friendly staff

We've stayed here a few times when visiting Morecambe. The hotel is well situated, the staff are great, and it's all pretty clean and well maintained. The main drawback is that the rooms are small, and we've stayed in a few different ones, this trip being the most cramped. The staff are lovely, the restaurant is better than you might expect, and everyone is chatty. If you're travellng light or solo for a couple of nights it's OK, but if you've got luggage, and aren't that slim, you may have some issues.

I only stayed for one night midweek. Everything was fine,I didnt have any meals in the hotel restaurant so cant comment. The room was small but tidy. Directly opposite from the hotel is morecambe bay, which is beautiful. The hotel is situated at the end of the prom.

Peaceful getaway Okay

The room was lovely and comfy twin beds. A shower would’ve liked a bath back facing so there wasn’t any view but there was a fantastic bistro bar with balcony very friendly staff great views of Morecambe Bay. We had a breakfast there was full choice.

A pleasant sea front hotel.

A pleasant, clean and comfortable sea front hotel with friendly and efficient staff. The room was clean and bed very comfortable with the makings of tea and coffee well stocked. The compact shower WC en suite was very clean with good quality towels provided. The hotel bar/restaurant has a good menu and comfortable environment with a great view of Morecambe bay. Very limited parking at the rear of the hotel but unrestricted parking in front between 6pm and 9am overnight with a public pay and display carpark beside the RNLI building opposite.

Mainly fine. Friendly check in. Don't like the fact that my card was debited £50 despite assurance it wouldn't be. I had already paid so why the debit on my card? Hoping this is refunded ASAP .I understand a swipe in case of damage etc , but they should definitely not have taken a debit from it without my authority. BLACK MARK FOR THIS. A suggestion would be to provide disposable shower/bath sponges. Also bedroom walls are very thin meaning enforced listening to next room's conversation. Otherwise ok.

A lovely stay on a dreary day!

The hotel is inconspicuous on a dreary day but has double doors from the bar to the street so would be lovely on a summers day. The rooms are spacious and the bed was really comfortable. The bathroom was fitted with a lovely modern shower and the vista was straight out to the Bay (which was sadly freak and dreary). One lady (Margaret) was amazing. She checked me in and made sure I was happy with everything. Then after I went to my room I went to the bar and was being served pints by Margaret again. £4.50 per pint for Wainwrights was nice to see (a hotel that doesn’t take your eyes Breakfast was good although staff didn’t seem so committed. Wifi was adequate for what I needed it for. I didn’t use the hotel parking because it was free to park in the loading bays (and legal) until 09:00hrs! The only drawback was I was going to Lancaster University the next day and although Google maps said 19mins (at 7.20pm in the evening) the reality in the morning was nearly 1 hour ….. so not ideal if you have to be somewhere in rush hour and need to go through Lancaster!! That said, I would have no issue staying here again.

Good location and warm reception staff (thank you, Jackie). Single is a little small, bathroom included, but functional for a short stay. Floors could benefit from repair - they sag and creak - though not easy, I realize. Deposits not rare these days, but it would be far more efficient to require guests to pay for food and/or drinks when services are rendered, rather than making everyone go through extra steps on check in and check out and risking good will. Internet sign in also unnecessarily cumbersome.
