A faded glory seaside town. The east end and central area(by the Midland Hotel) are the better areas;the west end (ie more southern) prom area is very rundown and doesn't even show on the tourist info map!! Very clean, virtually no litter.
Very run down & full of chavs Views over the bay of the Lakes is breathtaking tho
It was good to see the area again. I used to travel quite frequently through or around the area when i lived on the Isle of Man.
While some areas look a little tired, the hotel area is very picturesque, it’s like stepping back in time.
Morecambe is perfect for a long weekend away and we will be back again. Long Stay Car Park nearby was only £3.
