The service was really great and we felt so welcome from the moment we’ve arrived with first of all a tour around the hotel and our appartment, our host gave us some great advice on good restaurants, walks and other things to know to have the best time in Madeira. "Insgesamt ein gutes Hotel, mit Dachterrasse, Pool, Bar und kleinem Fitnessraum. Sauberes Zimmer bei Ankunft. Das Frühstück könnte etwas mehr Auswahl haben, aber dennoch alles da was man braucht. Gut gelegen um ins Zentrum zu gelangen. Das Hotel selbst hat nur 6 Parkplätze, diese also rechtzeitig reservieren. Alternativ kann man gut im Santa Lucia Parkhaus parken für aktuell 5,50€ am Tag, die Empfehlung kam von Tania an der Rezeption."

"A very good hotel with an excellent breakfast and great amenities. The room we stayed in—located on the floor 0 felt a bit dated; upon entering, there was a noticeable stale odor. In the evenings, there is wonderful live music in the bar and a very pleasant atmosphere. It is an adults-only hotel, though I would say its 55+. I recommend it for a peaceful, relaxing getaway!"

"Really awful management, had to cancel our stay due to a medical emergency. Had asked management for a letter of cancellation or no show for my insurance policy and they’ve ignored all requests and have refused to provide evidence which means we can’t even go through the travel insurance to get some of the money back. Really disgraceful service and would advise to stay away from booking with such an awful company due to the lack of general help."

"We have just had a 3 night stay at the Hotel and it was lovely. When we arrived the reception staff were very friendly and gave us a brief tour, when our room was ready we were again escorted there by a member of reception. The room was a great size with a small patio area overlooking the lush gardens. We had dinner in the restauarant on our first night, which was excellent, service was impeccable.
