"Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral in Funchal und die Innenstadt ist gut zu erreichen. Das Hotel ist sehr sauber und gepflegt und verfügt über 2 Poolbereiche und einen Zugang zum Meer. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und gepflegt und sehr geräumig. Wir hatten ein Standard-Zimmer. Die Betten sind etwas härter, aber trotzdem bequem. Die Kissen sind leider sehr hart. Das Frühstück ist sehr abwechslungsreich und gut, man findet eigentlich alles was man möchte. Nur das Personal könnte etwas hilfsbereiter und...

"Pestana Royal is a very outdated hotel. If you are looking for clean modern look that is not the place for you. If you are looking for a place with high quality food that is not the right place. Food quality is very poor. It is a very mediocre place with clean rooms and very mediocre food."

"Stayed for a week, we only did bed and breakfast but were given a 2pm gratuitous late check out due to evening flight. The staff were incredibly helpful with car rental, restaurant recommendations and other queries. I'd highly recommend the hotel"
