We just loved our couple of nights at this cozy lakefront apartment, the room and bed were very comfy, the view and location was absolutely stunning, and kitchen was well appointed and stocked with goodies We can’t wait to return and stay longer next year

Can’t get any closer to Lake Como

Sabrina welcomed us with wine and goodies! Balcony was ON the lake. Moonrise was spectacular and the views are breathtaking. Plan on parking a couple hundred meters away if you have a car. Very nice place - we will be back!

Sabrina was a very nice host, enough espresso in the kitchen and welcome drinks. Couple of good restaurants close by, ferry station 5 min. by foot. You can also hike in Moltracio, if you are lucky, public parking directly in front of the house.

Inspite of the difficulty in travelling to this property, the view makes it worth all the distance. It has a magnificent view of the lake to die for. The kitchen is pleasantly filled with amenities anyone can wish for. Ample of food and beverages for bare necessity.

Amazing place to stay for our first trip to Como! We got lucky and were able to park right in front of the property every day. Had a balcony right on top of the water. It was a bit rainy and cool when we went but I’m sure in the warmer months it’s amazing to lay out on the dock and hop in the water for a swim. FYI did have a bathroom across the shared hall but not big deal to us as it was our own private bathroom. The host was very professional and helpful and answered all of my questions quickly! Would absolutely come back!

Stop looking and stay here

This place is a must stay. We loved Moltrasio as it is quiet yet there are still many dining options. Waking up to the water and mountains was spectacular. There is a ferry 5 mins away from this place. We were very sad to leave. I would recommend booking a private transfer to and from your place as cabs were hard to get a hold of and bus seemed unreliable. We walked everywhere and took an hour 45 min ferry to Bellagio. It was a great way to see all the little towns on your way. Bellagio was too busy for us so Moltrasio is a perfect spot in our opinion. Sabrina was also a life saver on our last day and was VERY accommodating.

Spectacular lakefront views with large balcony (Patria) apt. W full kitchen, large bathroom and roomy bedroom with adequate queen mattress. Sabrina had it nicely prepared for our arrival though she was unable to welcome us as we arrived after 2:30 pm. She left details requested regarding walkable restaurants and ferry transportation which was very helpful. We stopped at a grocery store in Como to stock up for our 3 night stay not knowing the extent of food necessities and goodies awaiting us provided by Sabrina. (Bread, juice,milk,coffee, tea, butter, water bottles, yogurt along with lots of breakfast cakes and croissants AND A CHILLED BOTTLE OF SPUMANTE. Such a pleasant surprise. One side note, we used Expedia and the main door entry code was erroneous as the last character is a ^ not a v. Sabrina was quick to respond when we shared that the fan remotes were ineffective due to dead batteries. Hopefully You will enjoy your stay here as much as we did. We will return!😎

La Darsena di Riva Grande is located right on the lake in beautiful Moltrasio. (Just a 15 minute taxi ride from the Como train station) You can walk to many great restaurants, a gelataria and the ferry station in under 10 minutes. (The ferry gets you to Belagio and Varenna in less than 2 hours) You’ll also be greeted by incredible views from your private balcony or on the lower dock. There’s not a better place to wake up on Lake Como! We were met by Sabrina at checkin. She is a wonderful host who helps also with finding excursions (boat tours, plane tours, you name it). The kitchen is tastefully stocked with treats on your stay.

Wow, Wow, Wow. What a place to stay. We were met by Sabrina the host, nothing was too much trouble. The room and its view is something you can normally only dream of. Stunning. There were many little extra touch like cakes, milk, coffee biscuits etc available to us. It’s only a 300m walk into the town, where there are a few bars and restaurants, but it’s also where you can catch the ferry to anywhere on the lake. For example the trip into Como was just over 20mins. This place is highly recommended, do yourself a favour, stay here!!!

La Darsena on waters edge

La Darsena was simply lovely, the check in was quick and Sabrina was friendly. She supplied us some products for breakfast and some drinks to enjoy for sundowners. The space was spacious with lovely kitchen and lounge area and comfortable bedroom. The views from balcony and room are gorgeous. La Darsena is literally set on waters edge so you have no barrier between you, the water and great view. The place was peaceful and charming. Only small issue was bathroom is outside across the passage but is for your private use only. We did not find this to be a problem

Mysigt hotell

Hotellet ligger väldigt mysigt till, utsikt över sjön. Vi fick också tillgång till en brygga med solstolar. Rummet hade inte badrum i samma rum, men bara precis rätt över, jättefint badrum, med dusch och badkar, väldigt fräscht. Trevligt med gemensamt kök. Det finns ingen affär i direkt närhet. Vi fick jättefin hjälp av hotellägaren Sabrina, lätt att checka-in och checka-ut. Det är inget lyxhotell men väldigt trevligt och var fräscht och såå fint läge. Nära till färjeterminalen. Vi kommer gärna tillbaka 🙌.

Super séjour de 3 nuits dans cet hôtel au bord du lac ! Un vrai plaisir tous les matins d’ouvrir les volets et de voir le lac aux pieds de la chambre !! Avec un peu de chance on peut garer la voiture à côté (deux petites places en face de l’hôtel) sinon il faut aller un peu plus loin sur un parking payant et difficile d’accès pour les piétons. Mais ça n’enlève rien au charme de cet hôtel d’un bon rapport qualité - prix !

We stayed in December 2021, Sabrina was very attentive and met us at the door, giving us a quick tour & all the necessary information. We had a parking space right outside the front door. We stayed in a room overlooking the Lake, it was immaculately clean & warm with everything you could possibly need, the shower was hot and powerful, the bathroom was spotless with towels, hairdryer etc. The kitchen was equipped with every utensil & appliance, we ate out every day but did have a coffee for breakfast. The ferry port is 2 minutes along the Lake as are a few restaurants. The view from our balcony was fantastic, right over the water, we can't wait to return and we tell everyone about La Darsena!
