"We travelled up to Reading as an overnight stay after watching England at Twickenham. Checked in online, and contacted reception in advance to see if we could leave our bags in the room at 1130. Nothing was too much trouble and the room was clean and welcoming. This is the second year in a row we have stayed here, and the accommodation a breakfast was top notch. A cracking solution to avoiding London prices and the queues for trains. "

"Lovely clean, comfortable hotel right in the centre of Reading, only a short walk away from the train station. The bed was very comfortable (a firm mattress, as I like it). Breakfast options were abundant and the quality was excellent. Overall this place is great value for money, will definitely stay here again!"

"Lovely stay at The Crown, really friendly staff the rooms are separate from the pub so nice and quiet, really comfortable bed all the amenities were superb. We didn’t eat there in the evening as had a party to go to but 14 of us had the carvery on the Sunday and I can honestly say it’s the best carvery I’ve had. Wouldn’t hesitate staying here again, just need my friend to have another party."

"Beautiful building and interior. We came for our mini honeymoon and got ungraded. We had a congratulations note with chocolates in the room and rose petals scattered on a king size bed. Large room, large bathroom. Decent breakfast but quite minimalistic for £20/person. "
