Hotels near Miami Children's Museum

"This hotel looks significantly cleaner and well appointed than reality. The first room was gross. The floors clearly had not been cleaned, the headboard was peeling, the shower was molding, and the door didn’t deadbolt. I called and texted staff multiple times with no response. Eventually I was able to move rooms and it was minimally improved. The new room was cleaner, but with a weird stain on the mattress protector, dingy bathroom, no chair, floor stains, and more. Had it not been late, I would have left. The staff is neither rude nor friendly. More apparently without care for customer service. The whole property desperately needs a facelift. On the upside, if you appreciate the ability to sit on the toilet, brush your teeth over the sink, and turn on the shower all at once- this could be for you. The toilet paper roll is behind you as a result of the very, very small space. If I had booked multiple nights, I’d cancel. The other parties in my group reported the same conditions- except they had to go on hunts for toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hand soap- all which had dispensers in the bathroom. Loud and grimy, this was a motel experience. I will not be staying again. Even my ride share was like “yeah, you’re not the first to say that.”"

"Everything was great except the big African American man at the bar with the cocked eye. Very rude and unprofessional. We went to the bar he didn’t acknowledge us or speak, even when we asked for a menu, he just slid it across the bar top and didn’t say a word. We decided to leave due to his poor service or lack there of!!! Note: we too are African American men and expected much better service given the state our country is in currently with racism!!"

"The Hyatt was a very nice and clean hotel. The food in the restaurant is very good but a little pricey. The staff is friendly. I will recommend this place to my family and friends."

"East check-in. Front desk staff were friendly and called when your room is available. Walking distance to Bayside Market."

"Everything was good, the only things I would suggest would be to upgrade the bathrooms a little bit and to have the resort have a night life. Example- silent party with headphones, comedy night , sip and chat things that won’t be too disturbing to other that don’t like noise. It will give the guest that don’t like to leave the resort something to look forward to on certain nights or rainy nights."

"Property needs updates. Plenty of food and shopping near by. Lots of construction going on in the building. Elevators and front desk are hard to find."
