If I could give negative stars I would. This is no were near to a 5 stars hotel as advertised. Half the benefits they claim both on Expedia and their own website are lies or come with hidden costs; there is no shuttle to the beach, they do give you a voucher for 2 chairs but you need to rent the $30 umbrella to use them. They list 2 restaurants and a cafe, yet there is only a 30 people bar with one person doing everything. The $40 salad is a microwaved chunk of salmon with a bag off spring mix, not even dressing. The food is served in a plastic container with a plastic fork. They didn’t even offer tap water or napkins. Tip is included in your bill for 22%. The facilities are shared with a condominium in the same building and they throw events for the residents blocking out the pool, jacuzzi, etc. for only residents. They wouldn’t even let us watch the 4th of July fireworks from their terrace because it was residents only. The rooms come with Bluetooth full size speakers and the room walls are paper thin, good luck trying to get any sleep for the entire trip. (For context I’m a millennial with a platinum Expedia membership who hates confrontation and would not send back the wrong order and this is my very first time giving a hotel less than 4 stars), yet I felt the need to call front desk at least 10 times for different incidents throughout the weekend, for which they gave a vague apology and did nothing to fix it.
