"Extremely small room, the sink is located outside the bathroom which was a nuisance. The sink was not draining initially and we had to ask someone to come fix it. After the first person “fixed it” we saw that it was still not draining. We called again. They sent someone else who opened up the pipes and cleaned the drain and it finally worked. We were offered a free bottle of wine, which was nice but this is not the experience I was expecting when paying such a hefty price each night. The bed...

"I had a great stay overall. I slept very well, the location was fabulous, and the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. The only small issues were that the blackout curtains wouldn’t fully close and the ice machine was not working properly the night i stayed ( owner did let me know if i needed anything i can go to restaurant below, unfortunately my even wasnt over until midnight and restaurant was closed :( ) . "It is always a daunting task to book a hotel without ever seeing it. I have stayed in Miami more than 4 times and had stayed at various hotels. This by far has been the best one and will continue to book this hotel for future stays. The location is perfect and the rooms are great. The rooftop pool is an added bonus as well. I will see you next time. "

"The property was perfect! Location was optimal, room amenities, staff was helpful and present. Pool was clean, warm, and never crowded. Tons of spots to eat near by. Walgreens right there was helpful. Short and beautiful walk to the beach. 10/10 recommend!"

This is a crazy time of year and staff can be understandably overwhelmed, but every single staff member at the National was so accommodating, from the housekeeping to the bartenders to the management. "For a first class accommodation, Lennox can use some improvement. The rooms are basic with clean beds and furnishings are so minimal it’s difficult to find a place to put items for a week stay. You basically have to live out of your suitcase. "

"The hotel says it’s non-smoking, but that’s only in rooms. There were cigarette butts all over the outside of our room. One day, when we came back from dinner, our entire room smelled like pot. The staff at the pool managing the towels was the rudest person I’ve ever met at a hotel. They were seriously gate keeping the towels to 2 per person - at a pool! "It is undoubtedly a historic hotel, but the rooms are small and extremely inconvenient to use. The phone doesn’t work, and the TV doesn’t function either. The only good thing about it is the location."
