"We arrived late and the staff were a wonderful help. The hotel is very modern and clean and located along the harbour with a great boardwalk to stretch the legs after a long drive. The kids enjoyed Cold Rock ice cream a 5 min max stroll from the hotel. We grabbed some Thai takeaway too but could easily have opted for something on the room service menu. The pool has a great slide for the kids and a small playground. A short drive up the road/20 minute walk and you’re at Newcastle Beach with the amazing ocean baths. There is a beautiful scenic walk along the coast with a kiosk right on the beach selling food and coffee. Wish we had more time to explore but we were only stopping over for the night. Super comfy bed and pillows. "

"Fabulous place to stay in Newcastle. Clean, quirky, friendly staff, great food, fantastic location. Light rail stop is right outside the hotel, lots of restaurants nearby and Civic Theatre is a 10min walk down the road. We’ve stayed here a few times and love it."
