The highlight has to be the rooftop lounge — the views overlooking the Valley of the Kings are simply breathtaking, especially at sunset. The food was delicious, with a great selection that kept us coming back for every meal. The staff were genuinely lovely — friendly, attentive, and always happy to help with tips for exploring the area. The rooms were comfortable and well-appointed, each with a balcony to soak in the stunning surroundings. If you’re visiting Luxor, look no further — this place ticks every box. "The room was nice and bathroom was nice and clean, my problems were that the WiFi didn't work throughout my stay and due to my phone data not working, was unable to use my phone for anything my entire stay. I was also charged for the drinks in the rooms fridge which originally I was told I was allowed to have. I was also charged for grease/sweat stains on my pillow which is inevitable in a hot country. Won’t be staying again considering I wasn’t even compensated for the lack of WiFi. "

More than anything, Sayed was incredibly welcoming and helpful - when our hot air balloon was cancelled for bad weather, he helped us plan the perfect alternative activities. Although this property is located in a rural area, it is quite urban in its design, featuring a modern, antique, and chic aesthetic in this boutique hotel. All I can say is that we were pleasantly surprised by Al Wadi. "

"Great service, calm and very cosy, peaceful, beautiful country backyard, owner and staff will do anything to help make your stay memorable. The room is clean and equipped with all what could be needed. It is a great place to stay away from the buzz of the city and have a great feeling of the area life style from the tour of the around fields provided by the staff it the beautiful garden on site. My only complaint was road access which is not in the hands of the lodge crew but the city. I would recommend this place any day."
