"As a repeat customer at Grand Chancellor Launceston everything was as expected ,very good ,,,, when it was time for bed we were very surprised as the bed was also host to a lot of ants ,, after some time later we relocated to another room this was a big inconvenience as I am a disabled person,,,, I thought this would have at least have been a very sorry apology from the management, but did not happen ,,quite disappointed,, ( 27 may. room no 1017 ,) thank for allowing me review my experience. maybe my next accommodation choice will have to be reconsidered. "What a find! Such reasonable rates for a warm, comfortable, clean and quiet room. Bathrooms and toilets are shared but there are so many that it feels like you have one to yourself. The restaurant was great, and also well priced. The staff were outstanding. It seemed none were over the age of 25 but very cheerful, friendly and professional. There’s a common living room and kitchen with all the basics."

"these rooms are very old nothing has been done since it opened maybe 44 years ago and for the price it should be better the water garden was closed for renovations so the food was available in the Links restaurant and we thought the food was terrible no wonder there was nobody in there not good enough for the price overall will noy stay there again"
