"A lovely traditional pub within striking distance of many beautiful places. The food was always great particularly the breakfast and came out wonderfully hot and on hot place which is so often an issue in other hotels. It's lovely to sit out in the garden and we were staying while the World Cup and Wimbledon were on and it was easy to catch the games in the evening but also lots of space to get away from the action. "Breakfast was good, Staff where also good but for 1 person who came in and said "you have not paid for 1 breakfast" while we where eating which put us off and got a little embarrassed while there where other guest. it was a strange behavior could be racial issue ?, they allowed all 4 of us into the hall, they could have indicated then?... strange but i guess that is how they treat people who are non-white ? , The day was very hot there was a fan facing us which was removed when 4 of us where...

"Quirky stay in Tunbridge Wells. The theme is fun and throughout the restaurant and hotel- decorations, staff uniforms, music and menu options. Lots of parking right outside. Food was lovely. The breakfast had unlimited coffee and juices and lots of options. The only downside was we went in the heatwave and the only thing available was a small desk fan so the heat was unbearable in the room so we slept really badly, could do with additional larger fans in the rooms"

"The hotel is in need of a complete refurbishment as it is dated, very tired looking and in parts very tatty. Having said that the room I was allocated was large and spotless. The bed was comfortable and the room and bathroom amenities were acceptable. The breakfast at this hotel was very good. The car park is small and I was lucky to get a parking space during my stay. "Th Leicester Inn is a very old listed property and as such has some wonderful aspects giving it great character. Being old and listed also means that modern features like double glazing and air conditioning are not present and we stayed on one of the hottest days of the year. Our room was very hot but a fan was provided and we were able to have an open window. There is a good size car park at the rear of the Inn. Food and service were superb."
