"Room was large and well cleaned, it came with a sticked kitchenette. The hotel has a nice restaurant in site with outdoor seating overlooking the French Broad River. The hotel was like a museum for the original jail with information on display. The room we stayed in had several original features of the old jail."

"everything was good even the breakfast was great. only two problems i seen were using the TV there is a switch on the wall inside front door that must be turned on to operate TV light and fridge and nobody said anything about it had to find out going to front desk. also you will need to use your phone to find out what station on tv is used in that area for direct tv even the front desk did not know lol but all in all it was a good stay no complaints"

"The room was clean. It was a suite so we had plenty of toom. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was spacious. It is dog friendly. The decor was very cute all over the hotel. The breakfast was yummy. The staff was friendly. The lady at might was super friendly and helpful. The lady in the morning was also super friendly and helpful. I would stay here again. We had a sixth floor suite. The view was even nice."

"I like The Fairfield Inn because it's the nicest of the hotels on Tunnel Rd. in Asheville. Excellent breakfast & super clean rooms. That are cleaned every day. Soft sheets & great shower. The black out shades were helpful & the window opens a little bit, but makes a difference with fresh air!"

"This hotel is in a safe area but is currently undergoing renovations. It did not impact the rooms during our stay but the pool is currently closed. The amenities are very basic but it was clean. We did not eat there for breakfast so cannot comment on that. Our biggest surprise was that there was no coffee provided in the rooms and not even a plastic cup for water. Our rating would have been higher if those items would have been available without having to go down to the breakfast area. "

"Room was clean and nice, the bed was comfy. Road noise was a little load being on the front of the building. Staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was typical but presented very well. The chives in the eggs where a little much but was still plenty to eat. Would stay again maybe on the back side. Came for a show in the area. Was extremely convenient, was able to walk to and from the show."
