The staff is absolutely amazing, it makes a huge difference when you see that people love their job. We felt welcome and cared for all the time.
Our room was beautiful and full of character - as well as all communal areas. I took a moment to read about the history of the hotel, and it's absolutely fascinating. Knowing that it's the oldest hotel in Montreux where a lot of great people used to stay (including Victor Hugo), makes it even more special. "
"What an excellent place to stay! The staff absolutely top notch, so helpful, friendly and very professional. Theon was spectacular and that view from the balcony was amazing. The room was clean, bed was the most comfortable I had in Switzerland, breakfast was good with a decent selection. I highly recommend staying here. It is very close to the bus line so perfect for explore the city or getting to the train station. I would definitely get a room with a balcony, you definitely won't regret it. "

"This hotel is lovely. While it is not a 4 or 5 star, it is very nice. It is clean and details are noticed. It is on the lake with great views. The breakfast is amazing, probably one of the best that I've seen anywhere with local produce, homemade healthy items. The restaurant for lunch and dinner features small plates which are also very good. Highly recommend."
