"This is a very clean and cozy B&B directly across the street from the ruins of Pompeii. It was a little difficult to find, but it’s the same entrance as the ‘Mericano restaurant. We stayed 3 nights with our 2 daughters and were very comfortable. We would not hesitate to stay here if ever we visit Pompeii again. The street the B&B is on has many restaurants, cafes and shops. We especially liked the Antica Cucina restaurant across the square from the church. The town felt very safe and relaxed."

"We had a bit of an unfortunate stay, the electrical transformator in the building had failed shortly prior to our arrival and the repairs made the electricity a bit unreliable. They finished the repairs the morning we left so it's most likely not a permanent issue. The positives of our stay was that the hotel was quiet and the staff was really helped us planning both what sights to visit as well as which restaurants he recommended"

"The property is a 25 minute flat walk to Sorrento. Nice quiet area with some good eateries nearby. You won't often find anyone at the front desk, but there is a bell to ring. The breakfast was okay to start the day. Would be nice to have some cut up fresh fruit. Oranges and apples available. Property and room a bit run down, but pretty clean. Shower pressure and hot water was good. Bed was comfortable but pillows were hard. Amazing views around the corner. Recommend Nazare restaurant in the next property, a bit pricey, but attentive wait staff and great food and views. Our room had a nice view in a weird alcove/closet. Found the staff to be a but aloof. At the time we booked not much available in downtown Sorrento in this price point."

"The location of the Excelsior is superb, overlooking the Bay of Naples. If you have the port side rooms you wake up to Vesuvius across the Bay and can watch its many moods throughout the day. On the roof top terrace you can watch the lights turn on in the city and see Vesuvius become a presence that is hard to ignore. The bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in, and we needed it after 12 days of negotiating the cobblestone streets of the Amalfi Coast, averaging 6 miles a day, and we're senior citizens! This hotel holds a special place in my heart. The breakfast alone is worth staying here! The staff was super nice. The hotel is a piece of old Italian luxury and has to be experienced."

"The Starhotel Terminus is conveniently located right outside the Napoli Centrale train station. We had an early train to catch so it made travel extremely easy. Don't let the outside fool you inside the decor is beautiful. They provided luggage storage before check in which allowed us the opportunity to explore the area freely. There are a variety of restaurants located on the same block as the hotel. The rooms were clean, very spacious and quite cozy. The Odeon restaurant was very nice and the dinner was even better. We both enjoyed the branzino, mixed vegetables and kale. During our overnight stay, the staff was very friendly and always greeted us with a warm smile and was very helpful whenever we had questions. A very special thank you to Salim who was a member of the hotel concierge team. Salim was very friendly and attentive and very willing to make our stay enjoyable. I recommend highly and would absolutely stay again if back in Napoli.💜💜💜"

"Hotel Mary was absolutely amazing from beginning to end. The service, attention to detail, and overall experience were exceptional. While it is on the higher end in terms of price, it is truly worth every penny. What really sets this hotel apart is the personalized service. From the valet and check-in staff to the pool and beach club teams, everyone made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. A very special shout-out has to go to Vincenzo at the restaurant. He goes above and beyond to make you feel at home, make you feel special, and ensure your evening is one to remember. His energy, warmth, attention, and genuine care completely elevated our experience. Vincenzo is truly one of those people you remember long after your vacation is over. That said, the entire staff was equally wonderful and contributed to an incredible stay. We had such a great time and left feeling that Hotel Mary offers something truly special. We will absolutely be back. Highly recommended!"

"4 nuits à cette hôtel et on va vraiment beaucoup aimé. Le site est vraiment très beau, vue incroyable sur le Vésuve et sur la montagne en arrière de l’hôtel, belle piscine sur le bord de l’eau. Eau très froide par contre dans la piscine. Bon buffet déjeuner. Stationnement facile pour l’auto et vraiment pas chers comparé aux autre hôtels. Accès facile à la route pour aller visiter. Chambre très grande, lit confortable, c’était très propre. Moi et ma conjointe avons passé un très beau séjour, je vous recommande cet hôtel."
