"The historic building is simply beautiful, very charming, and well-restored. The room was spacious, and the bathroom was well-equipped. The service in the restaurant was very friendly but extremely slow. The food was rather mediocre. Breakfast was actually quite poor. There was barely a tablespoon of yogurt with the granola, and the toast was cold and hard like rusk. The location itself is beautiful."

"Good amount of parking although either a trek to reception or the room as the equidistant spaces were all full. Check in felt convoluted and confused - eg the payment and whether breakfast was included or not. It was a bit of a faff getting to reception as we were not allowed through the normal entrance owing to a wedding and so had to enter through a side entrance - all quite bizarre. "The staff were fantastic both at the hotel and the diner. The room was great apart from technical issues with our television which staff tried to fix. But it kept breaking again , in the end we gave up as out of the 3 day stay here it worked for about 2 hrs on and off. We gave up and used a phone to watch the world cup! Not quite the same but staff did give us a complimentary breakfast on departure as an apology. Parking facilities great, tea and coffee in reception. The toiletries in the room...
