"Our family (with two boys, ages 9 and 13) had an amazing stay at Nakelo Treasure Island Resort. The location is absolutely idyllic, with crystal-clear water, abundant marine life, and a relaxed atmosphere that made it feel like paradise. There were plenty of activities to keep our boys entertained, and the staff truly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. "Plantation Island was a dream to stay at with our small family and our friend's families. Our beachfront motel room was spacious and comfortable and while a top story room may seem better, having the bottom story room made it easy for our preschooler to pop out and find our friends close by as well as be easily supervised with a wide space to play in. "Loved the hotel, but you need to make sure you book your dinner otherwise they won’t let you into the restaurant. The staff there were not as enthusiastic as other places, especially the reception. We had to ask for more towels as we only got 2, even though the booking was for 4. Our room wasn’t cleaned and we had to ask for that to be done. The staff at the restaurant were otherwise good and enthusiastic, but I think I got food poisoning from their buffet."
